Water marks, heat marks, smoke damage or a dull, grimy finish
Furniture Restorer removes wax and grime, old polish build-up, smoke damage, water and heat marks — and in most cases saves you stripping, re-staining and re-polishing. It blends into the existing colour and finish and is compatible with French polish.
Apply with 0000 steel wool, rubbing gently, one section at a time, then buff with a separate flannel cloth.
Regular care, or a richer shine after restoring
Furniture Polish is an old-fashioned lavender polish for antique and general furniture. It nourishes the timber and helps keep its natural patina.
After using Furniture Restorer, wait 12 hours before polishing. Apply again for a higher gloss.
Raw timber, bar tops, floors, doors and windows
Handyman Oil penetrates and seals raw timber, resists scratches, prevents splinters on undressed timber and can be used as a primer under paint and varnish.
Best with 2 to 3 coats, wiping off each coat after about an hour. Allow 24 hours to dry. It also cleans and protects wooden and metal hand tools.
French polishing and fine buffing
French Polisher's Steel Wool 0000 is the super fine grade used for French polishing and antique restoration, and to finish or buff fine woodwork. It also polishes bright metals and removes dirt from glass.
